Yesterday was my baby's first Easter and her being so little, I had a lot of decisions to make.
Here are the questions I found myself wondering:
1. Is she too little to see the Easter Bunny?
2. Is it too soon for an egg hunt?
3. Should I take her to church, yet?
4. Should I do professional photos, or my own?
5. Do I make her an Easter Basket?
6. What do you give a 2 month old in her Easter Basket?
7. Everyone says baby can have "some" chocolate. Am I wrong for ignoring this?
So I decided to use my best insticts and this is what I decided:
She did not see the Easter Bunny, she doesn't really like strangers and I didn't feel like it was best to drag her into a large crowd, with it being a late flu season.
We did not participate in any egg hunts, most start at age 2, and she can't eat any candy.... So I didn't see the point, this year.
I did take my baby to church, and she did not go to the nursery; instead she stayed in the seat with me, and sat there quiet as a lamb..
I took my own 1st Easter photo and it costed way less than anything professional (only the cost of eggs and her outfit).
Check out my Easter photo previous blog post, to see the cropped version.
My daughter got her first Easter Basket "from the Easter Bunny," and she loved the fluffy bunny on the basket.
She also got one from relatives
:)
Inside the bunny basket I gave the baby a Baby's 1st Easter onesie, a rattler, a few toys for her playmat, and a big stuffed bunny.
She also got a couple tiny bunnies, some teethers, and some hair bows, from family.
My child DID NOT have any candy for Easter, she is 2 months old and for no reason will she be tasting sugar, anytime soon.
